Not a burger joint per se but this place (in its new St Louis Park location) has always been a great restaurant with great food. On this recent trip for lunch i couldn’t help but try a good old fashioned burger. I remeber my first burger at Figlio back when it first opend in the mid 1980′s. What I remebr most about their burgers is size. A hearty 10oz or more burger. I tried the Figlio Burger – a plain burger with lettuce, tomato, raw red onion on a pretzel bun. As you can see by the picture, the patty had a nice sear to it. The burger itself was cooked to a perfect medium giving it a great flavor and full of juice. A burger of this size was hard to finish even coming with crisp shoestring fries. I was definitely happy with my choice of ordering the one of two burgers on the menu. Figlio also offers a bacon cheeseburger.
